Custom Aluminum Folded Fin Heat sink

All of our folded fin heatsinks are custom made to order.

Folded fin heatsinks can provide higher thermal performance by increasing surface area while decreasing space. Another advantage is that the fin thickness to fin pitch ratio can be reduced to that of an extruded fin heatsink.

Although different materials can be utilized, folded fin heatsinks are often built of aluminum and/or copper alloys. One advantage is that heatsink base thicknesses can be made thinner as a result.

With folded fin heatsinks, base and fin materials can be combined to adapt thermals to the needs of the customer. To attach fins to the base material, either a thermally conductive bonding adhesive or soldering can be utilized. Manufacturing specs can be found in the further information section.
